Einstein Center Climate Change
The Einstein Center Climate Change (ECCC) was a proposal to establish an interdisciplinary research center for urban climate adaptation in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, bringing together TU Berlin, FU Berlin, HU Berlin, Charité, and UdK Berlin. I was commissioned by Prof. Timothée Ingen-Housz to design the full funding application, a document of over 200 pages, with sole responsibility for layout, visual identity, and stakeholder communication.
With a non-negotiable submission deadline, I had three weeks to design the entire document from scratch. The workflow required building a complete design system first — typography hierarchy, five-colour scheme, grid, and chapter templates — before any content could flow in.
Coordinating simultaneous contributions from multiple research groups across five institutions demanded precise version management and the ability to make fast, clear design decisions under real pressure. All deadlines were met.
